I've spent 25 years in technology, watching transformation waves arrive with big promises. At legal tech conferences around 2009, I was certain the technology in front of me would change legal services - and every industry it touched. It didn't. We've had technology capable of automating work for more than a decade, and remarkably little actually changed.
I spent the next decade in legal technology - automating legal workflows with Intapp, then from 2015 bringing NetDocuments to Australia and working with the country's biggest law firms. In 2020 I decided to start again, this time focused purely on automation, for any industry. Then large language models arrived, and the ground shifted. Old automation meant mapping every path a process could take: if this, then that, over and over. Agents infer. We're no longer writing code - we're writing English. That changes what can be automated, and it's the biggest shift I'll see in my working life.
It's why the name matters to me. I used to think the future ability was the technology itself. It isn't. Building is becoming commoditised - the ability this future demands is harnessing it: choosing the right things to deliver, managing the change, making the complex digestible.
We build on Power Platform inside the Microsoft ecosystem, where the governance and trust already live. Our team are people I've worked with for years, onshore and in the Philippines - some of the sharpest Power Platform and agent talent anywhere. And we don't sell licences. No consumption incentives, no clip on the ticket. Our incentive is the transformation of work itself.
What we're looking for now is simple: high-calibre clients who'll join us, and the clients we already serve, on the journey. It's going to be a wild few years. We'd rather navigate them with you than watch another wave go to waste.
